What is Northstar Travel Collective?
A community of people who run their own home-based travel businesses through Meridian Host Travel, the host agency. Northstar Travel Collective isn’t a travel agency itself.
Do I need travel experience?
No. You need a love of travel and a willingness to learn. There’s online training from the host agency and suppliers, and support from the team.
I have a full-time job. Will this work for me?
There are no fixed hours and no targets, so you choose how involved you are.
Can I just book for myself, family and friends?
Yes. Some people only book their own trips. Others book for people they know. There’s no pressure to do more.
Do I have to build a team?
No. Building a team is optional. Being a travel agent only is completely fine.
How much will I earn?
We can’t tell you, and you should be wary of anyone who promises a figure. Commission depends on the bookings you make, and you pay the fees whether or not you make any. Read the income disclaimer before you join.
When is commission paid?
After the customer has travelled, once the host agency has received the commission from the supplier. Holly will go through the details on your call.
Is it legitimate?
Meridian Host Travel is the host agency. Industry memberships belong to Meridian Host Travel, not to Northstar Travel Collective or to individual agents. Check anything you’re unsure of with Meridian Host Travel directly, and ask Holly anything on your call.
